FICCI HEAL 2008 is being organized by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in partnership with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India on the theme “Fostering Quality Healthcare For All” on August 7 & 8, 2008 at FICCI, New Delhi.

The Government of India has duly recognized Health Services sector as one of the priority sectors in the XI Five Year Plan and the crucial role of private sector in expanding the outreach of quality healthcare for all. This is evident by awarding 5-year tax holidays to hospitals in Tier II and Tier III cities in this year's Budget.

Our endeavor, through this conglomeration of policy makers and leaders from healthcare and associated industries from India and abroad is to assess the Indian and global scenario, deliberate on the emerging opportunities, challenges and solutions to define a road map for the growth of the health services sector. The aim is to arrive at workable strategies for expansion of quality healthcare provision at an affordable price from cities to towns and eventually to the villages through local and global collaboration and cooperation.

Delegation comprising leading Healthcare companies from USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Singapore are expected to participate in the Event.
